PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
he "BRINEY ZERO CHUCK" has only (.75") of gage length to help machine parts or fixtures that are too close to the machine spindle head for stub or standard gage length collet chucks. What makes this chuck so different is that the collet sits into the holder past the flange area and into the taper shank. The collet is held in place with a "ZERO CHUCK NUT" that has an external thread on it to seat into the flange. The only projection from the gage line is the length of the flange (.75") and the tool being used for machining.
FEATURES:
- Ground tapers ranging from AT2 to AT3 for maximum spindle contact.
- Concentricity of .0002" or less from the tool shank to bore.
- Certified 8620 material.
