EVO®6161 ASCEND™ Safety Helmet 

Address the higher risks and hazards on today's job sites, such as falls from height and slips or trips. They share their design origin with sports climbing and biking helmets, adding a 4-point chin strap, expanded foam liner offering front, back and side protection and reduced brim length for increased visibility.

The EVO®6161 ASCEND™ Safety Helmet combines all the ANSI Z89.1 Type I features from our current EVO®6100 Range with the added extra Protection benefits from the EN12492 Mountaineering Standard, by installing an extra layer of protection with our new EPP Liner. This liner provides protection for the wearer in the event of an Impact from the Sides, Front or Back, however the Liner is slim enough not interfere with EVOSpec® Integrated Eye Wear.

The EVO®6161 ASCEND™ Safety Helmet is available Vented (Class C) & Non-Vented (Class E)

EPP Liner: 

Our robust Expanded Polypropylene (EPP) liner ensures class leading impact attenuation, offering side, front and rear impact protection, as required in EN12492.

The EVO® 6161 ASCEND Safety Helmet has been designed and manufactured to conform to the following standards:

• ANSI Z89.1 Type I Class C (Vented) & Class E (Non-Vented) HT LT. 

• EN12492 mandatory Shock Absorption and Penetration Front, Sides and Rear

Tough HDPE Shell EVO®6161 ASCEND™ Safety Helmet features a distinctive five stripe design and the JSP shield, an internationally recognized symbol of quality.

Secure Fit Featuring a fully adjustable 4-point chinstrap. This Chin Strap is designed to meet the EN12492 mountaineering standard for working at height.

Wheel Ratchet 

EVO®6161 ASCEND™ Helmet also includes an easy to use Revolution® wheel ratchet and 3D adjustment harness, which offers 1-2-3 point depth settings for a perfect fit.
