HIGH SPEED STEEL

• Bit is constructed of M-7 high speed steel for high resistance to abrasion during tough drilling applications
• Three flatted shank design provides better chuck grip and reduces slippage, ideal for use in keyless chucks
• High speed steel (HSS) provides good wear resistance and can be used in general purpose applications on both ferrous and nonferrous materials
• Oxide coating prevents chip building, galling and welding on the workpiece
• Round shanks with flats are ground flat on three sides for increased chuck grip, reducing slippage and help centering the drill in the chuck
• All silver and deming bits are 6 in long and feature a 1/2 in reduced shank that fits all 1/2 in drills
• Engineered with premium high speed steel with black oxide coating for corrosion resistance
• They are used with portable drills and drill presses on ferrous and non-ferrous materials
• 118 deg chisel point tip is perfect for general purpose applications
